AFAIK, Switch hardware cannot take advantage of UHS2.

Have you ever used OV SDXC? The price is great, but I am concerned about quality.
Nope, I only just recently got my first microSDXC. Mostly just been re-using standard mSDs and mSDHCs.

Any recommendation on size, however?
Depends on how much you want to spend. Amazon usually has good deals on 64gb, 128gb, and 200gb. For now I wouldn't say you need any more than an extra 64gb. That'll get you through a year or more of digital releases along with the 25gb internal on Switch.

Either Class 10 or UHS-1 is good. The latter is better for its efficiency. However, I doubt Switch would put that much stress on an UHS-1 micro-SDXC differently from a Class 10.

UHS-1 is more ideal for action cams or photographic cameras which require more efficient output.
