Why can't people see that Dissidia sucked?

Cause it didnt? It was actually one of the few FF games I enjoy. Thats saying something coming from me.

QUOTE(ragingchaosgod @ May 13 2010, 09:28 AM) Phantasy Star Portable's good for an ARPG fix.
Nope.
It's too slow and way too easy.
Seriously, you could play it with one hand.
I've only played a bit of PSP2, but that seems harder than PSP.

They need to make Phantasy Star series more harder like PSO.

PSP isnt hard no, but you can get harder difficulties by beating it and by adjusting it. I myself found it to be quite fun and the Storyline to be nice. I loved all the voice acting. I really hope PSP2 gets a state side release.

I thought PSP and PSP2 weren't fixed yet?

PSP2? What the hell are you talking about? Sir you very much confuse me. PSP has been hacked for quite some time, if thats what you mean by "Fixed".

Lessee... a good part of the games are turn-based...

Monster hunter IS interesting, but I don't have anyone to play with, and yes, farming IS boring. I try to play it now and then, but i'm advancing very slowly. Also, there's little to no plot in there, just hunting.
this is my favorite series evar. if its storyline and plot you are looking for, go watch a movie. really there isnt much farming involved. maybe 5 runs max on a monster if you are making its armor. i have soloed the entire game, dont let anyone tell you that it cannot be done. if you are looking for a game that will stick with you for a long time, this is it, i have damn near 500 hours in it. and we're getting a new one in a year or so! yay mhp3rd!

Last time I saw phantasy star, it looked like a turn-based system. I might have to look again into it...
phantasy star is not turn based, its real time, and is a good game. i actually beat it, unlike most games i try.
i agree with some of the other people, saying you need to play castlevania: SOTN. i have played through it probably 5 times, and its still fun.

crisis core was fun for a while, but lost my interest after a while. you are correct, it is pretty much turn based, with a little walking around in between.

Oh see that's quite helpful when were talking about PSPs and someone has started a PSP2 rumor XD. Also Phantasy Star 1 and 2 have been fixed for the PSP for quite some time, sadly there has been no Eng release of Phantasy Star 2 yet.

I'll take my time to look better at Castlevania, thanks

[edit: that castlevania seems to have good action, but now I remember why I never tried to play: I'm quite the scaredy cat, and that is WAY too demonic for my colorful fantasy tastes

but I STILL want to check...]

Now, for monster hunter... I have the strange impression that I might like "Monster Hunter Diary" more than the original series, lol

About phantasy star, I'm almost sure I have one of the games for PS2 - if the battle system is the same, as soon as I get my controllers back!

Even by doing that, it's still easy.
Just stay away from it.

Also, lmao voice acting was the worst I've seen in a long time.

I challenge you to play Magna Carta Tears of Blood on the PS2.

^ I second that! D<

And I think we'll end up liking Monster Hunter Diary more than the actual Monster Hunter. XD But then, as themuddaload has so eloquently put it... perhaps I should just watch a movie.
