Hacking Recomendation for slot 2 card

Oh sorry put that wrong. I want to rip saves off of my DS games (Diamond, Pearl Mario) ONTO the cart in the slot 2 (The only gaming on the slot 2 I might be doing is pokemon and mario and thats it)


I know the G6L does this, not sure about other carts. The 3in1 does not.

It works with M3 Lite (Perfect) too. There already is homebrew to do that with a slot 1 card though. You just start the program from, for example, a M3 Simply, take the M3 Simply out, put the original game in and download the save to your PC. You can also write it back (same way).

Well, now you have to decide to get a M3 Lite or 3 in 1.

M3 Lite:
- More expansive
- Doesn't act like an original game (so no Gamecube linking in most cases)
- No rumble

3 in 1:
- Cheap
- Rumble, browser RAM and GBA rom space
- Acts like original game

You can already rip saves using a Slot 1 card. On a 3 in 1 it isn't possible. It is on the M3 Lite.

Oh boy now I'm confused The m3 can rip saves but the 3 in 1 can act as ram and the 3 in one can let me trade pokemon with the gameboy versions of pokemon and Pokemon Diamond but I'm not sure if the M3 can

Ok so what basically has been said is that I can use my R4 to rip saves (Still not sure on how) so I guess that solves my problem there but now I need to decide on the 3 in 1 and the M3

I have a similar problem - except I already have an M3 Lite. I may sell it though to get an EZ Flash since it's so cheap! But then I have to halve my capacity

My EZF4 Lite Deluxe should be here any day now and from what I have heard it is really great. You can dump saves,use Opera, play GBA roms(doesnt matter what size the ROM is), use GBA homebrew and run DS games off it(I already own a SC-ONE for that purpose though)

Save ripping from slot one is easy with many slot twos.

You should be able to DLDI patch eepinator for your slot two, and REIN is an old program which eepinator was supposably based on.

There is an EZ4 version of rein too, and i think it will work on SC aswell.

Don't get the compact, it has greatly reduced GBA capabilities. If you want a slot 2 cart with it's own microSD card, get the EZ-4 lite deluxe.

The EZV 3 in 1 is the ONLY device that will let you import pokemon from FRLG/RSE to D/P. No other devices will let you do this.

If you're choosing your card based on pokemon..

Pokemon is probably the only game which will require linkage like that. All other games and their linkage should be supported by the M3 Lite.

Either way, you can always edit pokemon in with pokesav

Yeah I guess I'll go with the EZ Flash 3 in 1 and maybe in the future buy an M3 but I'm still not sure how to copy saves off commercial games using the R4 and that eepinator program
