Hardware Recognize modchip

Does any one can help to recognize and what is the name of this modchip?
I would like to know if it is possible to update the firmware.

4mb jpg files on megaupload? Seriously? Resize them or crop them, so the file size aint so huge, then reupload them to imgur or tinypic and I will take a look. Otherwise this is exetremly newbish and full of fail.
