So I run SXOS with emunand on v7.01. I turned off stealth mode to let my kid browse the eshop and my 3yr old came over and hit some update button from the home menu that all I saw when I grabbed it from him was something like "restarting to finish installing update". Once it restarted, I see the SXOS logo then just a black screen, never the nintendo logo.

RCM still works fine, so I think my emunand is bricked on something, but I don't know what. I thought v7.01 was the latest so I'm not sure what update was installed and why it won't boot now.

Is my only option deleting the emunand and making a new one?

I believe your problem is that SX OS hasn't been updated to work with the latest V8.0 firmware, you just have to wait until they update it sadly unless you have a backup of your EmuNAND. Sorry not better news but hopefully not a long wait

Oh ok, I didn't realize 8.0 was out, thought 7.01 was latest. That's most likely it. Thank you!

yup 8.0 drops couple of days ago, only Atmosphere and I hear from this evening ReiNX support 8.0. I also notice/heard 8.0.1 was release couple of hours ago too, not sure how far the release is at moment

Just read that myself, damn that timing! I'll just wait it out, hopefully SXOS is not that far behind, usually they aren't.
