i have a psp 2000 with CFW 5.50 GEN-D3.

i tried to go to the information board to see what's that all about, and it gave me an error. fine i think, and i put my psp on standby because i was planning to put some more videos on it in a few minutes. when i connect it to my pc everything is normal. but when i check the memory card, there are suddenly only 3 folders there!
SKYPE, INFORMATION and BROWSER. all 3 are a few KB's big, and there is nothing else on the memory card but still it's saying my card is 90% full?! and when i check on my psp it says no movies and no games available? what happened, and more importantly, how do i fix it?

Go into the VSH or recovery menu and change the USB mode back to memory stick.

make sure you are looking at MS and NOT
one of the FLASHs

but
you MS may have got corrupted, it happens

i do not see a
ISO or PSP folder

what the SIZE of the mounted drive

are you looking at
X:/

X:/ is your drive letter

those files are all normally located in X:/PSP/SYSTEM aren't they?

are you SURE you're on the root of your card?

yes, 100%. i am looking at H:\. it seems it's just wiped of or so. but i've just made a clean image file of H:\ and it's 7.51GB, so yeah, the entire drive. i have the entire drive now on my PC, in a .raw format. hopefully i can do something with that

just managed to get just about all of the data of my memory stick thanks to Recover My Files.
now i have to find all the save games back, that's really all I really want back...... still would be a lot handier if I could just restore the data of my memory card. IT'S ON THERE, FOR SURE, but how do i access/visible again?

i just ended up formatting my memory card and starting all over again

i have my savegames from about 2 weeks ago, i'll just use those.
thanks for all the help though. i'll never use that damn information board again, that fucked it all up

The memory card could of been filled to maximum capacity and when the psp was downloading the bulletin board, it threw a fit... Same with me and a homebrew downloader i had... Downloaded wagic from there and all hell broke loose..

My suggestion is to always keep 100mb free and to make sure your card is legit/still functioning properly (buy a new one every 3/4 yrs or so)
