Hacking Realhotstuff.com Review

First of all, this isn't a full review, as I am not a critic. It's mostly a suggestion for everyone that needs to purchase a flash card and/or a memory stick, or similar accessories. Also, I'm pretty sure this is an American site, maybe Canada, so if you're anywhere else, don't expect results exactly like mine.

I recently purchased an AceKard 2 from RealHotStuff.com (No, it's not a porn site) because I had heard great things about the site on here. Now I've ordered plenty of things online and I'll be the first one to say that waiting for something to arrive in the mail bites. Unfortunately, there is no alternative to this, as no retail store sells flash carts. I typically wait around two weeks or more for mail to get to me (In case you're wondering, I live in south-eastern Wisconsin), but not in this case. I ordered an AceKard (Not the DSi version. The version I purchased can be found here: AceKard 2) and chose to have a 2 GB MicroSD card included with it for a little bit extra. Next, I clicked the lowest shipping price, because I don't have a lot of money to throw around. They said they would have it here within one business week, and I thought to myself; "More like 2 or 3." I was wrong, the product had gotten to my house by Thursday the next week. No damage to anything, everything as is.

Bottom of the line:

I highly recommend this site if you live in the US or Canada (Especially if you're new to the Nintendo DS modding scene), cheap products (Cost-wise) and excellent service means I'll definitely order from here again.

realhotstuff is a great site, I've done business with them before, the items arrive in a jiffy(especially if you live on the north east, usa)

what do you work for them...just kidding lol. Yeah, one caveat some of their products cost a bit more than what typical china based sites charge, but the speed of delivery is undeniable.

Haha, yeah, I'm trying not to make it sound like I work for them, I'm just suprised about the service. Usually a lot of shit goes wrong when it comes to ordering things in my case.

Yeah, you can get them a bit cheaper, but to be honest I don't know if I fully trust all those Chinese sites. They seem to produce a lot of fakes (From experience and friends), plus they take a lot of time to get anywhere in the U.S.

for the most part I've had good experiences with the chinese sites. I try to pick out the most respectable ones.


I rather like endeescardsale their great and there partner ndscardstore has 24 hour chat response.

I also like realhotstuff and they are fast shipping, but you can go to realhotstuff.hk (same website but based in hong kong) cuz all their stuff is cheaper >_< I got my iSmart MM in about 2-3 weeks and its cheapter then the .com one

I'll pitch in too- awesome site. I had some manufacturing defects back in the M3 Slim/Lite days and these guys talked to me quite a bit and replaced the unit. About a year later, when newer M3Ls started coming with the larger, GBA casings, RHS sent me one for free per request since I originally bought from them. So all in all very dependable store.

I like Realhotstuff as well. I was going crazy a while back looking for a 3 in 1 for my DS Phat on foreign websites, only to find that they were available here in the US. Who'd a thunk it? +1 Realhotstuff.com

I've never bought from the HK site but I bought a few carts from the US site and they're pretty good so far

Yeah, Realhotstuff is the best site for flashcards and other things. I ordered from them and it only took 3 days to get my DSTWO here in Colorado and at my doorstep. They've got great shipping and quality. I'll be sure to order from them again in the future.

And don't worry, they are safe. =)

I think they are a great site. Ordered my dstwo from there. Used usps first class shipping (the cheapest), and had my cart in two days when it's listed as 3-10. Mind you though, that I live in Virginia and they are located in New Jersey.


Edit: As for the comment on asian sites..... I don't think they are bad but when I only paid a few dollars more and got the cart in 2 days compared to 1-2 weeks or more, you see the obvious choice

Every flashcart I own has been bought through RHS. Every cart that I've hooked up friends with has been bought through RHS. The longest any order has ever taken to receive was 11 days. I've only gotten one defective cart from them in all the carts I've bought from them and they replaced that defective one without any hassle.

If you live in the US, there's really no reason not to buy from RHS.

Yeah they're a tad bit higher than other places but it's worth it considering packages come in about 2-3 days (in my experience anyway).

I ordered the same thing from 0ShippingZone 3 weeks ago and I'm still waiting!!
