I'm using reiNAND with my Gateway created emuNAND, and I have no problem running GBA games on emuNAND.

I've only tested it with my legit Ambassador GBA games, not with custom ROM injection. So no need to patch AGB_FIRM in my case obviously.

I don't understand the technical details, but I think it lets you play games that require a higher firmware than the one you're on.

All Pokémon (In french and english) + 2 Zelda (Minish Cap and ALTTP+4S).

But it's working fine with Pasta, so my CIAs are not corrupted, I don't understand...

Think the idea is to transfer the tickets from the sysnand to the Emu. After you create an emu that already has FBI installed on the Sys.

I don't think I transferred the ticket properly. My 3ds can no longer read the SD card.

Exactly what steps did you take?
Moving files from your Sysnands ID to the Emunands wouldn't cause the SD to no longer be read.

Try making sure you seated the internal SD properly?

As I said, I legitimately own them, I didn't install them from .cia files.

My NANDs are linked though, so obviously they are installed to sysNAND too.

Though it's my understanding that they must be installed on both sysNAND and emuNAND even if they're unlinked.

in wich part are you stuck? are you using Cubic Ninja or MSET to boot into rei? Remember that if you want to use MSET exploit then wou will need a DS cart to run the Rei rop installer.

I think I know what to do. I have put the contents of the reinand folder on my microSD card, and the launcher.dat from gateway (just in case) and the contents of the starter folder from Ninjhax (putting the contents of the 3ds folder in with the 3ds folder from reinand). I tried launching ninjhax but it quit with an error. I realised I didn't have internet set up and fixed that, but now it freezes with a black top screen (with some white pixels on the top right). Has done this twice now, will keep trying in case it is just sometimes doesn't work.
If you know what this means and what I might be doing wrong that would be great
I do have a DSTwo card which i will use to install the DS profile exploit when it is time fr thaqt (I assume I will have to downgrade system settings at some time).

Never mind, turns out I was just impatient, had to wait 20 seconds or so I navigated to ReiNand and started it, then pressed start when it told me to, however both screens went black. Have tried it twice so far, given it about two minutes each time but nothing happens and I have to force shut down. Any ideas? Did I miss a step?

mmh..what is your folder structure in sd card?
i mean in the root of sd card you should have the following files structure:

3ds
-- ReiNand
---- ReiNand.3dsx
---- ReiNand.smdh

rei
-- emunand
---- emunand.bin
-- thread
---- arm9.bin
-- firmware.bin
-- splash.bin

reiNand.dat

so just put reinand.dat, 3ds and rei folder on the root of your microsd.

@Zidapi thank you, i finally make custom gba VC games working on Rei, although the process is a bit tricky.

I've installed the patched agb_firm on sysnand, VC gba game in sysnand and in emunand too.
Wanted to try to start gba game on GW emunand, but im stuck at blackscreen.
Shit. this means that everytime i want to play a gba game i have to switch ROP's with my ds cart.
So i switched MSET rei rop and booted reiNand, booted gba game and it works fine, saves fine. "problem is everytime i close it it boots me back in sysnand so i have to enter in ReiNand again.
But it's better than nothing
As i said, its tricky but not impossible!

I've never been prompted to push start when loading reiNAND, you launch it and it just "works" booting into emuNAND.

I have all of those files plus the ninjhax demos in the 3ds folder, and boot.3dsx in the root. Doesn't work
