Hacking Real Time Save

When using the Enhanced Menu on FFCC, the game freezes when you select "Return to Game". That's why the RTS doesn't work; the CycloDS can't get back into the game. TC will probably have it fixed soon.
 
Honestly you are lucky that there aren't more problems because RTS on real hardware is a pretty tough thing to accomplish. Even emulators have problems with it. Just be glad that it works some of the time.

Heh! You should talk to the guys working on the Acekard firmware. They're so busy claiming that it's going to be virtually trivial to add realtime save to the Acekard that it's hilarious. Hell, they don't even have saves writing directly to uSD working yet, they still have to use reserved save blocks and THEN copy it to the builtin NAND FLASH or uSD.

Anyways, the Evolution's RTS (and SCDS1's for that matter) have worked fine for me with Izuna, Mystery Dungeon, Etrian Odyssey, etc.

Now the cheat engine OTOH gives me problems with some games, e.g. Etrian Odyssey
