ROM Hack Reading and extracting from Yo-kai Watch filesystem (yw1_a.fa, yw2_a.fa, yw3_a.fa)

i found these files in the romfs of yokai watch 1, 2 and 3. due to its large size, these files would contain everything, except audio and movies (those are in folders in romfs).

however, so far, i cannot find any information on how to open these files, and how to extract assets from them. if anyone has information, it would be greatly appreciated if you'd share.
