I only barely found out about UC when I stumbled across the trailer in RE4 a week ago.
It looks great and I've been hoping for a remake of 2 and 3 since 1 was redone for GC. However, I don't like that it looks like one of the survivor games.

Also is 2 even covered in this? So far I've only noticed stuff out of 0, 1, and 3. 2 was the first RE I ever played and still my favorite, and I'll be disappointed if they don't include it.

the graphics are not bad, but an on the rails shooter is going to get dull real fast.

Well this was suppose to be like RE4 but then they've changed their minds late last year so its a on rails shooter. I enjoyed House of the Dead series, only problem was that they took less than an hour to complete. Hopefully this would be a lot longer and would be more varied.

This game will cover 0, 1, 2, 3 and is suppose to reveal a lot of secrets about the Umbrella Corporation. Apparently it will tie the series in with the 4th game and Code Veronica.

It would be sweet if it had the whole "multiple paths" dealie (ala House of the Dead 4) where you could choose to go one way or the other at certain times.

Should I go up the stairs and around to get outside or should I go through the main hall? OMGWhattodo's?!

Those multiple path thingies usually make on-rails shooters more fun for me, plus it adds a little replay value.

I still remain optimistic for the game. Visually it's absolutely stunning. On rails it could be very entertaining, I think, but I'm just going to have to trust Capcom to know what's right for the game. Single screen co-op is also freaking radical. That being said, I really hope RE5 or a new RE4esque game gets gets released sometime on the Wii.

On the rails is cool with me since it's same screen co-op! I love playing the Resident Evil games with a friend of mine and actually being able to play at the same time instead of play and watch will be a huge bonus!

This looks pretty fun. And looks like you´ll be able to see and play through how Wesker takes over Umbrella. Nice.

I want to see some footage of Resi 2, though.

Pardon my ignorance but what does "on-rail shooter" mean?

it means: You don't move, you just aim the gun..... (like those arcade shooters)
