Hacking RCM Loader

My freind recently bought Switch, and he bought RCM loader from the same person. RCM loader works for his switch, but doesn't work for mine. I think it's because his Atmosphere is older. My question is can I update files from RCM loader some way?

The RCM Loader is basically just a flash drive with some extra programming in it so that it can select a payload and inject it

If you plug it into your computer over the Micro USB port it will show up just like any other flash drive. which you can then change the files in it, such as updating to the latest version of Hekate.

You may also want to upgrade the firmware for the loader too, and make sure you update your friend's Atmosphere version and Sigpatches.

As Elodain said, check the files, and update them by just connecting the RCM loader to your PC via the micro usb side, it should show up as a drive. Also as the other members explained, make sure your switch is not patch, cause otherwise you'd need a modchip.
