Afternoon, all.
Registered to post a big old success thread in the Wii - Backup Loaders forum, but learned I gotta do the new member song-and-dance in order to be able to post links and my draft of that post is full of 'em. This forced social interaction thing isn't my cup of tea, but I get the reasoning behind it, so hey. Time to go make five posts so I can share my infodump, because it seems like everybody and their mother really struggles with the Wii thing whereas getting CFW onto a 2/3DS unit seemed universally straightforward by comparison when I was looking through topics on how to manage it.
I live in literally nowhere, American southwest. Think tumbleweeds, cactuses, and no spring or autumn seasons, and you're probably in the same ballpark.
Got a New! 2DS XL running whatever the latest version of Luma is (had it on there since 2018-ish?) and an old family Wii running USB Loader GX and a few other goodies, as of a month or two ago. Outside of the Nintendo hardware, I usually play PC games. My one regret in life is that Bloodborne is a PS4-exclusive title.
In either case, thank goodness for video games. This quarantine thing would be a lot worst without 'em! How are the rest of you holding up? Got anything you're currently playing through to help stay sane?
