Hacking RawkSD

Rock band 3 comes with a lot of new stuff, and you have to decide between RawkSD + RB2 or Rock Band 3, which are entirely different games though.

OT: What did they do to the drums? WTF, you really have to get the new RB3 drum set or at least a RB2 set, the symbols are all jacked up

Only to play PRO. You can play standard with the RB1 kit.

I have the GHWT drums, they worked great in RB2, but now the yellow is only a drum during drum fills, plus the orange in now green instead of blue symbol. Blue is now only drum or symbol. I cannot stand hitting the blue for symbol.

There are some settings in game to play with, but I can't seem to get it back. They want you to buy RB3 pro dums.

Maybe have to get the old soldering iron out

What? He never said that.
He said that orange is now mapped to green, when it was mapped to blue in RB2. I find this really annoying too.
Also you can play pro dums with the green cymbal (symbol) only, using orange.

Can anyone give me a quick pointer in how to enable the leaderboards? I wanted to help test the RawkSD 3 beta which was released a couple months ago apparently (I haven't tried RawkSD since like last year, was gonna give it a shot again now that I bought Rockband 3, also the old version no longer seems to work for me. Probably some wii update along the way broke things.). I couldn't find much info except that you have to be on the leaderboards to use the new version apparently?

I browsed through this thread a little bit, but it's nearly 200 pages and I fear it would take me weeks to find what I'm looking for

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!

Custom leaderboards were only available for a select few who agreed to help test the beta halfway through this year. They also have access to Rawk3. The beta is currently closed until Rawk3 is released to the public

The old leaderboards hack has been disabled because it was only meant to be available for a limited time as a way of determining who out of all of the people asking for access to the beta were actually willing to test and report back their results, rather than just impatiently wanting early access to the program, finished or not. Once that time period was over, they released the beta, which slightly changes the way in which it submits scores (probably just modifies some data field in the upload), and submissions from the old riivolution hack (or my loader channel) are now ignored by the server, so you'll just have to wait for the public release.

What does the Rawksd patcher actually do to ios 37? Does it technically turn your ios 37 into a cios 37, or does it do something else? And how does this let your custom songs and downloaded ones work, instead of not working at all?

Almost two years ago it was announced. I thought October would be available to all people but I see that it is not
From July to now the beta has been tested
Why not take it out yet?
What reason is there to not take it out to the public?
Want us to pay?
They want more fame and recognition?
