Is there a possibilty to add Guitar Hero DLC with RawkSD? Thinking of the OneRepublic-DLC, which I would love to play on Rock Band 2..

The rules were written before DLC piracy was common, it refers more to people asking to import RB2 .bin files that their friends had bought or that they had found somewhere on the net.

It's not possible to import GH DLC, but might be added some time in the future (after the next release).

Just to clarify, if you can grab a bin unpacker, grab the .bik files from the DLC, and run, the Death Magnetic (and ONLY Death Magnetic) tracks might work if you drop them into a ripped GHM folder. Try it Temp, I haven't, though I think it'll work.

What if the developers keep us "users" up-to-date about the progress of RawkUSB (or whatever it's name will be) here in this post? I think it will stop (or at least calm down) all the rumors and misinformation...

Would you rather have them spend their time updating us on progress, or finishing the 3.00 version? It's not like anyone is getting paid to do this, it's a project that they're doing in their spare time for the fun / challenge of it.

We posted a video (which wasn't fake) that showed the basic loading sequence, changes to the intro, a DLC list of over 700 songs (look closely) including band hero imports and played a lego rock band song which had proper lip-sync. Less than a month later the video was taken down for supposed copyright infringement, despite hundreds of other RB2 videos being on youtube. So we probably won't bother doing that again.
We also have a public IRC channel on efnet called #RawkSD. Quite a bit of talk happens there, but like any regular IRC channel if you wander in and act like a n00b you won't last long. But you don't have to say anything if you just want to listen.
