Raspberry pi 4 Lakka controller help

Hello everyone. I have setup Lakka on my raspberry pi 4 through noobs. Everything works properly, but I cant for the life of me figure out how to get controller support. I enabled Bluetooth in settings of Lakka but can’t get it to pair. I looked online but only see RetroPie methods and since I used noobs to get Lakka how to I manage to pair my controller to my raspberry pi 4? Thanks!

did you ever get this to work? i tried the lakka documentation method too and i couldn't get it to work. on the Retropie for Pi4, i was able to get the ps3 controller to work, but i'm having trouble with that build on my 4k tv. i want to force the pi4 to output at 720p as it will lag like crazy at 4k.
