Random crashes of 3DS

Why does random shit crash my 3DS randomly for no reason? Last time, it was a legit mario party island tour cartridge crashing when completing a minigame, and now CTGP-7 crashes it when I attempt to close the game.

Those crashes appear at seemingly random places and only apparently crash my 3DS once, as after that, the stuff works as usual.

Why is this happening? CTGP-7 has never crashed until now.

I don't know what sort of answer you are expecting, but one of the most common points of failure tends to be the SD card.

Copy everything off the card (Roadkil's Unstoppable Copier is recommended), format the card, test the empty card with h2testw, and copy everything back again if the test is okay.
