I think the first 3DS revision will not be noticeable aesthetically, but more likely bring changes to the internal hardware. I can imagine a more efficient battery, and improved 3D viewing angles. In this case the 3DS name would go unchanged, much like the GBA SP systems with the brighter, improved LCD screens.

If the 3DS undergoes a major design change that warrants a new name, I'm going with 3DS Advantage.
