So I was updating my Switch from 9.2 to 11.0.1 but I think I've ran into some issues. I think the update process went well but no software's booting.

I'm not that well versed in CFW discussion but I think I'm missing the sigpatches necessary for this FW version.

I was greeted by this new boot screen after injecting the payload, I think it's called Nyx? And when selecting "Launch" there was a small warning saying no sigpatches detected or something to that effect and to press Power to proceed.

I copied the atmosphere 0.16.2 files into the root of the SD card.
Copied the hekate 5.5.1 bootloader folder onto the root of the SD card
Downloaded 11.0.1 and used Daybreak to install it.

I think it went along well, since on System Settings it showed it was FW 11.0.1 Atmos 0.16, however no game would boot and I couldn't use the Hold R while launching to boot the homebrew menu. But I could launch the homebrew menu if I just launched the Album folder.

I think it's the sigpatches that are missing, but I'm not sure where to find them and where to put them on the SD card so they'll run.

The other issue is, I changed my old payload which was fusee-primary.bin (which made mention of FW 9.2) to hekate_ctcaer_5.5.1.bin which came with the Hekate files. Is this the correct payload to use? I get really confused about all this stuff, but it launched ok despite the sigpatches warning.

On a semi related note, I've been using Tinfoil to install software, should I be looking to update to a better solution?

Thanks in advance.

Download these sigpatches and extract them to the root of your sd card

https://github.com/ITotalJustice/patches/releases/download/11.0.1-0.16.2/fusee.zip

make sure to launch fusee-primary.bin from hekate when booting

Awesome thanks.

Where do I find the fusee-primary.bin ? Does the old one I used work fine or should I be using a more up to date one?

get it from the atmosphere github page from the last atmosphere release

The patches can be found here. There is also no right or wrong payload to use however Hekate is objectively better than Fusee. Lastly, I highly recommend using Awoo Installer or the newly released TinWoo. I've always used them and have never had any issues.
