If you ask me, I'm very glad to hear this. Rainbow Moon was a extremely good PSN game in my opinion, I'm glad it's getting a sequel. Now, the fact that it's coming out in 2014 when it's just the 2nd month in 2013 still, that's a taaaaaad early to announce it, since it's just a cult-hit PSN game.

    Punny statement:
I guess they're shooting past the skies and to the moon for the series.

I'm not sure what that is, but it sounds like too many rainbows honestly

The simple fact you don't know the series shows that it's a cult-hit. Anyone that likes Disgaea style tactics combat mixed with actual world-exploration/dungeon crawling would like the game.

I'm wondering what pun Gahars will make about this news.... not a lot to work with here....

    I don't know Disgaea either. :o

Also Gahars will probably say something about water refraction or something like that.
EDIT: How's this? "This franchise hasn't made its final rain-bow yet."

Useless hyphen. Fail. That would only make sense if there was anything related to bows or rain.

    How about:
I guess they're shooting past the skies and to the moon for the series.

Usually when something has a cult following, it means it's not very good, but there are a small number of people who like it regardless. Not having heard of a game doesn't make it good.
