Its just an advertisment. It is only to advertise in their specific countries, and fit in. It doesn't mean Microsoft is racist, an ad cannot prove that everything they do is racist.

So if it comes to Singapore, it would be racists because we don't have all 4 races in the ad?

Microsoft unleashed fail yet again. I think good employees with programming and Photoshop skills are in short supply at Microsoft.

This is not the first time microsoft has been called racist.

Can't believe no one has mentioned the previous time, because it is pretty incredible.

You see, acouple years ago people when searching the microsoft clip art database for the word "monkey" found something interesting.
The search returned pictures of monkeys....but also a picture of a black family at a playground.

Uproar insued.

In microsoft's defense the picture was tagged with the word "monkey bars" and that explains why it was a result to the search "monkey"

but as for this new case...it is actually alittle more damning to photo shop a picture of a black person out of an advertisment.
I remember a college being in trouble for photoshopping IN a picture of a black person to enhance their assumed diversity.

I guess the only way to not be racist in advertising is to...well....include someone without judgement of their race in the first place.
Imagine...someone being present not because you wanted to include them in an ad, but because they are naturally included in general.

What a novel idea.

my friend sent me this, and actually if you actually go to the polish site and hit refresh over and over, you'll see that it randomly generates different ads. sometimes it shows the black guy, sometimes it doesnt (on the polish ad... i never looked at any other ads). The person who "Discovered" this must have just gone to the site and generated the white guy, not realizing that the ad is randomly generated

It's just a split test, guys.... a test to see if small changes have an effect on the performance of the ad. Very common in advertising

Quoted for truth. I don't know too much about Poland, but if Microsoft was racist, why would they bother including a black dude in the picture, only to remove him?

I don't see what's so big about this, really. The Asian guy is still there, so why is it considered racism?

I'm sorry but its known that europe is the worst continent regarding racism...
Many neo-nazis out there and on the internet.. I myself as a "Jew" suffered from it..
So no wonder microsoft did that.

Honestly, I am Polish, and I know from experience that Polish usually don't like Jews and Black people (or at least the ones I know...)

Microsoft Polska: Zwi?ksz mo?liwo?ci szans dla rasizmu!

hahaha, I found this earlier on bbc. Seriously? It is really stupid, why do it, what does it matter, its just funny that someone is that stupid.
