you don't install r4ysauto onto your ds.

as for your (i'm assuming actual issue with ysmenu made with r4ysauto), i don't know what to say. mine goes into standby just fine.

which ysmenu and dstt firmware versions are you using?

I have whatever the latest version of each program is and is currently available for download. I did the second option on the install method, which is to boot it after it boots the r4 firmware

then i'm assuming it's the 090119blahblah ysmenu and the cracked 1.17 dstt.

i've never built with that option. try building it as a firmware replacement and see if it goes into standby.

Followed the steps and the fw load fine.
However I am not able to start any roms. It start too load but then the screen stays white.

Any suggestions?

Oh, I have the new R4 shdc card. I know it's a clone and all.

what's the use of this?
do i need to use DSTT? coz i'm using r4.
i don't know how to setup this program.
can you make a guide for noob. TQ

chrono trigger (j) dont load for me...white screen after it attemps to boot ? :S kinda gay.
also...anyway to soft reset ? kinda annoying to have to turn the ds on and off to change a game or something.

yes it does. the zip just needs to be renamed to be the same as whatever was the latest when r4ysauto was released. i can't remember what it was off the top of my head. my ysmenu is the latest based off of dstt 1.17

EDIT: rename it to
YSMenu0810211800.zip
I did this, but when i start the r4.bat file, it says it can't find it, and that Yasu don't want his file redistributed, and that i have to download it manually. -.-

you're doing something wrong, then.

i assume you put the ysmenu zip in the same directory as the rest of r4ysauto? and that it's the actual ysmenu zip that you're renaming?

Yes, i downloaded the newest version from the site, and then i extracted the YSauto rar file to a folder, put the YSmenu zip file into the folder, renamed it to YSMenu0810211800.zip, and then i started r4.bat. And it says it can't find it.

Zane.

Do you show file extensions in your OS ?

e.g. If you renamed the file YSMenu0810211800.zip it could really have the name YSMenu0810211800.zip.zip since the .zip extension might be hidden.

Using an R4 Ultra (r4 clone) with YSMenu0810211800.zip the firmware loads but when I try to play any game I gett the error message: Error Unsupported DLDI Name. Any help?

Thanks

hmmm....so i tried using the anti piracy code to get chrono trigger to work with this...and im still getting stuck at a white screen when it loads =[
any help ?

A new version of YSMenu has been released:

Code:
+ 2009/02/07 16:30
- Fix: some Icon not shown
- Game List now shows files specified by FILETYPE in ini
- sav creation size can be specified by savlib.dat

ThatShane, I have the same card. I read somewhere that the R4 Ultra is a mix between an R4 and the Acekard so I tried following the Acekard Instructions using YSMenu0902071630.zip (don't forget to rename the file to YSMenu0810211800.zip before running the bat file) So far, it's worked for me.
