every time i start a game from ymenu, it keeps on patching it, what's happening?
You should just wait until it's done patching. After that, the game should start.

yes, but i'd like to know what's happening
also, if i have reset option checked, it fails to patch/boot

Thanks quick and useful

Wierd... I switched my computer off when I went out, and when I switched back on, and tried to run the program, I had no problems at all! The .zip appeared as it should, and everything was there. And, it works with my DS, and fixes problems with various games! Nice job, thanks very much!

Why do I get "r4patch.dat not loaded" or something like that?

EDIT: Nevermind, got it to fix that but another problem arises. When I try to boot most of my games, it says "patching file....Open TTRESET.DAT error!" or something similar.

Rename the YSMenu folder to TTMenu

When i press soft reset (LRABXY) it said "LOADING" with white screen and it won't reset .

what should i do?

AFAIK soft-reset doesn't work.

Just wanted to post a huge thank you for whipping this up man. I'd given up trying to test run some ds roms due to the 'save file not found' bit on 1.18. Got a new micro sd card in this afternoon and after some retries everything is working great on those same roms.

Few stupid minor questions. Anyone know if Yasu or anyone for that matter might be working on the soft reset issue, or is that random to YSMenu users and their respective micro cards? Also, any work perhaps on using more than 1 background? Just curious on both, only thing I miss about the R4 software are the soft reset and seeing a diff skin every month that I'd put in there.

Keep up the great work man, us old timers who don't have the brains for this stuff appreciate how easy you've made this process.

Hi, I am new here, but I wanted to try YSMenu. The only one that worked for me was this one you helped us make. But I was trying to use YSMenu so I could run the new Sonic Game ( Sonic Brotherhood...). But after installing this YSMenu I still receive that error that it couldn´t read the save data. I saw that the YSMenu could run this game. Can someone help me?

Can someone please help me. Ive got all the files in a folder and when I click r4.bat some program pops up. The text in the program looks like something other then english and i dont know what to do. If you know what to do tell me here or in #dsorganize. Thanks.

Hey, this worked great for me. But the cheats it comes with are for only English games. Does anyone know where I can get the usrcheat.dat for Japanese games?

Maikel Steneker, thanks for making this. I was about to purchase a new flashcart but YSMENU should keep my R4 going a bit longer. One problem I had running this was it only works on root of my hard drive. I kept wondering why it didn't work on a folder I made for it. Looking forward to future updates when next ysmenu ver is released

That's strange. I actually run it from a directory on my Desktop. Are you, by any chance, running Windows Vista?

I doubt Vista is an issue. It worked fine for me on Vista Ultimate x64 SP1.

Thanks for putting this together. And thanks to cory for pointing out that hex edit.

There have been other users who had problems on Windows Vista. I'm glad to hear this is not a common problem.

I still haven't tried the hex edit... Next week, I'm very busy, after that I will have time to work on R4YSauto again, and I will see how I can use the hex edit.
