I flashed my flashcart with NTRboot so I can't see it, and therefore, can't tell if the pins are working correctly. usually I would fiddle with it until it works. Paper isn't working consistently. I need tips to get the 3ds to read the fucking thing because I can't get into the safebootinstaller

Alright so i'm trying to install CFW and I flashed my r4i3ds gold rts with ntr boot, presumably successfully. I also believe I have installed all the stuff I need on my 3ds sd card (I just copied the files to the root without extracting however, might have done this automatically)

show me the root of your 3ds sdcard. seeing as you didn't extract the files thats probably your issue

I re purposed a sky 3ds sd card so i have some 3ds files on it. I should mention I just copied everything from my 4gb card I had in my 3ds to the new one before adding the other stuff.

I also have boot9strap firm/firmsha in the boot9strap folder

What method did you use to flash your R4? other than the contact issue regarding the pins nothing seems to be wrong

I assume you're following 3ds.guide right

yes, and now i've got a piece of paper stuck in the slot and can't get it out. pins are probably bend to shit. Fucking shitty chinese flash carts that never fit properly. my sky 3ds is the same.

getting really upset now. so stupid the thing has to brick and you don't know if it's working.

I followed the guide, went down to the r4i option and hit the install. when it was done it put me back to the intall or quit screen, I ended up hiting install two more times before exiting. now I can't get it to show up at all so it's eaither working or bricked. eaither way can't get the afeboot launcher to come on, have no way of knowing if there is a connector issue or SD card issue or some shit. tried about 30 times now, each time it just stays in sleep mode near the magnet.
