Hardware r4i working with latest software?

Hi. Does R4i Gold 3ds RTS work with the latest software(Version 7.1.0-16U)
? my 3ds keeps asking to be updated, but i don't want to incase it patches the r4i.

Looks identical to the one I've got. But I don't think mine is the "RTS" one. Not sure though. Mine works on 7.1, however, I had to cut something on the chip thing.

yes, r4i gold 3ds works great on 3ds 7.1.0-16 and 7.2.0-17

i think you mean the r4i gold rts card,if that it can directly support the 3ds v7.2.0-17, if not the r4i gold rts card you can view the official website update, whether it can support the v7.1.0-16, it release on the official website..
