i just switched to r4i-sdhc and i need to download the firmware i saw the the website written on it was:www.r4i-dshc.com but when i start downloading it is 2oooooo slow like half an hour 2% can anyone tell me about how to get this r4 working

just try getting the firmware from different locations they list
i found sometimes spain is faster than italy etc
the firmware compatibility is absolutely appalling for games tho
id see if you can boot RGF's firmware in DSTT section on it
id assume it might run it natively as it looks like a DSTT clone
