Hacking r4i - sdhc 3DS Question

Hey, i'm kind new to this but i have a question.

I have a r4i card for the 3ds that is apparently a ''V1.4.X'' as my 3ds doesn't recognise the card because it has the most recent firmware on it.

Is there any news on a kernel that will allow this r4 card to work on it yet? Any help would be great

A firmware update for 3DS compatibility will have to come from the team that made your cart (they are encrypted and hardware-specific), so if there is one it will be on the site printed on the cart.

also no, if you got a card from before last christmas, its never going to get another update.

itll only work on ds lites and below.
