Hacking R4i SDHC 3DS patch for latest 3DS version

The R4i-SDHC team told me I have to buy a new card.
I don't wan't to waste money on a new card!
I have the old R4i SDHC 3DS card with nothing marked on (v4.5, v5.0, RTS).

Someone make a new patch for my old card, Please!
So that it can work for the latest 3DS version!

Firmware updates are encrypted and per-cart. Nobody's ever made a custom one for any cart.

Buy a cart from a team that's NOT known for dropping older carts after a small number of updates, like Supercard/DSTwo.

Well then, could someone tell me how someone got an old R4i SDHC card which only works on DSi to work on 3DS?

It was a different model that had more updates.
