Okay, I want to run pokemon black/white on my DSiXL. i have an R4i Revolution For DS. It says v1.4 on the sticker. It's like a gold cartridge. Is this a clone? Or will it run the wood 1.17 firmware? Thanks.

All R4 carts that run on DSi or support SDHC are clones. Your cart should run B/W with the proper patches.

If the team is doing what they're supposed to be, then you won't need to patch, the firmware will play the game fine.
