Hacking r4i gold help

hey..im having trouble with my r4i gold (http://www.r4-pro.com)..i don't know if my r4 is real or clone...coz everytime i used the pokesav for heart gold...the save file is always corrupting...[and also can someone tell me if my r4i gold will work on spinal_cord's homebrew..the coverflow one...thankss in advance =]​

R4i Gold, no matter who it is made by, is a clone.

I do not have your particular type of R4i Gold but DScovered/CoverflowDS will not work with clones UNLESS it can use YSmenu.

I cannot help you set up YSmenu, and it is possible that YSmenu won't work with your clone anyway. YSmenu cannot work on the type of R4i Gold (r4ids.com) that I own.

However I do own an Acekard 2i, and I have used DScovered on it and it is very nice unless I wish to use a cheat.
