Hacking R4i Gold 3DS Plus question [regarding cfw]

I have purchased an R4i gold plus, with the intention of putting custom firm ware on both me and my wife's 3DSs.

Will I be able to repeat this for both of our 3DSs or will I have to buy two of these cards?

You only need one flashcart to install custom firmware for any number of 3DS/2DS systems. If both you're wife and you likes to play NDS games for old times sakes, you might want to consider two flashcarts so you don't have to share.

I've already decided to order 2 for that , but it's good to know that I'll be able to put CFW on my friend's 3DSs as well, thanks!
