I have a Problem with my r4....
"Please upgrade Hardware support latest Firmware"
I tried the lastest Kernel and change the Date, also tried to unblock the FlashCard...
I dont have a DS Lite, so can i do something to fix it?

Hate to necrobump a thread like this, but I'm having the exact same problem. Using an R4 3DS Upgrade SDHC RTS Lite and it keeps stating the exact same thing, no matter what kernel I put it on. There's another thread on this that talks about using an upgrade.nds file to fix it but no such file exists on the site anymore. Help?

You guys using the r4i gold version for 3ds? I installed the latest "wood" files and it was working fine 2 weeks ago,.last time I checked.

    One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.

    It's old but it's the best firmware out for DS stuff

    Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
