Just received an R4i 3DS from Digitopz. It has www.R4ids.cn on it. I have downloaded the latest wood update 1.46 and put it on the micro sd card with some games. It boots up fine and i see the game icons but when i try to run any it says, 'processing, don't power off' and the sd card icon in top right is flashing. Thats it. Just stays like that and i have to power off. Am i doing something wrong or is it the card?

Tried with 3 different micro sd cards and still the same thing!!?? I'm using a DSiXL and I put the ndsi 1.44 patch on and that updated fine but the games just don't load? I'm using a mac by the way. Are there any known problems with that?

You should format your tf card with FAT16 or FAT32. It seems that the savers could not be created.

Yes i have formatted to FAT32. Even downloaded the Panasonic formatter for mac and tried that but still the same.

I have the R4i3DS (red box) and before I could play games I had to update the FW through a DSLite and THEN found out that they only play with SanDisk SD Cards. I had a Kingston one before and it wouldn't work either.

I downloaded WOOD R4 V1.46 from the official site r4ids.cn.

Another thing is if i change the skin to say black, or zelda, nothing changes? and if i change the filename/icons layout to small and save, when i restart it's back to the default. Could there be a problem with the r4i writing to the sd card?

I actually have tried both those. A kingston 4gb and sandisk 16gb...

I don't know....you have tried 3 microSD's already, i can only guess it may be a faulty R4i or summert to do with using a mac, i aint come across a problem like you are having....soz

Use software called "Virtual Box" and run the files to the micro sd card in a Windows environment. I believe this will solve your problem. :)

Installed Parallels and windows. Formatted card, downloaded wood 1.46 and a game through windows. Put them on card. Same thing....

All i can say is fcuk this piece of @$£%@£!!
