Hacking r4i 3ds deluxe 4.02b upgrading problems

can anyone help me get the new r4i upgrade working?

I have already had previous versions working no problem but I have tried to upgrade to 4.02b and I cant get the 3ds to recognise any game has been inserted.

I copied all files from 3ds sd card to my computer then formatted the sd card and put the files back on with the new launcher.dat file on.
I have put 2 games on an sd card ( drag and drop) and tried to open them after the usual Nintendo ds profile but no games are showing. the screen goes blank after I select the ds profile as before but I just cant get any games recognised- even the previous working game that was copied to an sd card via win32discimager.

I have also tried putting the old sd card files back onto the sd card to try and get the original windisc game working again but it still wont show up.

any ideas??

ive sorted it now- I didn't realise you had to press 'select' for the games to show.
2 hours wasted trying to sort it!!!!
