Hacking R4i 2017 Silver RTS Lite Weird Problem

Hi guys! My R4 flashcart acts up. I could play nds game before this. But all of sudden when I try to play nds game it shows error message. I have tried reformat the micro sd and copied the right firmware for the cart but no avail, it still displays error messages. The website displayed on the cart is r4isdhc(dot)com like the one embedded.

I use it on old 3ds luma 9.1 fw 11.8

One word, REFRAIN from anything that has the text "R4iSDHC" on it.
Get an AceKard or DSTwo.

Highest firmware the card can run NDS game on a 3DS is 11.6 not 11.8.

With B9S/A9LH, you can use any DS carts (sans DSTT/i since it overrides the BIOS).

This card uses timebomb. I guess you can use ysmenu to circumvent the timebomb. And for future reference stay away with the flashcart names r4isdhc.

With newer cards, games will randomly freeze when using YSMenu.

The card works on all firmwares, Nintendo gave up blocking DS flashcarts a long time ago

You seem to be trying to use Moonshell to use commercial ROMs, which it can't do, you have to use the flashcart's own kernel to run then (although you should have already installed that)

Maybe I messed up something. Before this happened, I regularly played Tetris DS

This is the part where I'm really confused. I use the exact same firmware that I downloaded directly from their site before this error occured.

Thanks for the info! I still have a gateway blue card. I'll try it tonight and if it also gives me error, I may consider buying a used nds lite because it's cheaper than R4i Gold here.

Yes, I redownloaded the firmware from the official site. Thank you now the issue has been resolved. I just don't know how the heck it fixes itself. I'll invest on a better card next time. Thank you guys! Finally can play tetris on Satnite. Have a good weekend!

I recommend this card to everyone, I have a bunch of them (Not the Plus, just the RTS) and it's the best card I've ever used.
