Hacking r4ds springs!

it seems that those who broke the spring are using too much force or are in haste as u break 2 of 3 shows that MAYBE u were not careful enough or maybe u got one of the weak springs but seems the spring is still good only too talked about

seriously you should see an anger control problem, my sister has an R4 since february and it still works pretty fine

Mine broke the 2nd day i had it.
But anyway the R4 is better with out the spring BUT NOT in the new shell
Becurse of the CycloDSEvo style ill say that is that imposiple to remove again as the CycloDSEvo

works perfectly fine for about 3 months now. And i take my Micro SD Card out about 15 times a day.

No, your R4 spring is either fine, you'd pick 'works perfectly fine', or is broke then you would pick 'broke T_T'

got mine when they were first released (with a black and a white shell) and still fine - been played with by countless children, my heavy-handed self and my clumsy partner and still fine.

The R4 has a few probs but I've never considered the spring to be one (for me).

Mine hasnt broke, and I dont tink it ill. im putting it in gently

Mine hasn't broken either, and I've had it since summer.. I don't use it that carefully either

15+ bought thru dealextreme with no spring problems what so ever.
bought 1 second hand R4 with broken spring....

ya i actually thought about adding another option besides broken and works but i couldnt really think of any.. this is a good enough amount of ppl though, i guess i dont really have anything to worry about. im usually careful with my r4ds, extra careful at least because of the spring problems.

I got an R4 from the first batch around October last year, and it's still working fine for me

Sadly, mine broke. It still works perfectly fine though.

As long as you don't use too much force on it, mine works perfectly fine. However if you do it just springs straight back out again
