R4ConceptDs All in One!

R4ConceptDs is a compilation of homebrew, which can be used as replacement firmware for R4DS and M3DSSimply.
This contains DSOrganize main firmware and it contains in the main menu:
GAME, MEDIA, GBA, NDS_Slot2, GBA_Slot2 and R4Wood.

R4ConceptDs has the ability to run roms via Moonshell 1.71 and DSOrganize browsers: (see "Set Favorites" for more information!).

MicroSD card:
_Backup your files.
_Format your microSD card.
_Copy the contents of the "R4ConceptDs" folder, to the route of microSD card...
_Put your files in "_NDS_" folder.

Set Favorites: (optional)
(if you want to play with Moonshell 1.71 and DSOrganize browsers)
In _NDS_/Favorites folder, there are plugins numbered "01" to "20" that can be renamed to the name of the rom that you want to play.
Exemple: 01-Avatar The Game.nds, keeping the number for easy identification.
Then enter the folder TTMenu: Edit the file RENAME.INI with Notepad, then rename the last line to the rom that you want to play.
Exemple: Default.01=/_NDS_/GAMES_NDS/Avatar The Game.nds

That's it. Then just play roms in Moonshell 1.71 and DSOrganize browsers through the folder Favorites.

...enjoy!

Note: (do not modify anything inside the "R4ConceptDs" folder, except "Set Favorites")

Credits:
YSMenu, DSOrganize, Moonshell, Wood R4, GBA_ExpLoader and others.
Thanks everyone!

Change log (v03):
_RetroGameFan updated to version 6.43
_Wood R4 updated to version 1.20
_The folder ysGames was renamed to Favorites

If I recall correctly, YSBoot falls under the non-redistributable stuff...regardless of if you can hex edit or not...since you still would need to provide the source even if it was redistributable. Also, I doubt you have a reason to put TTMenu inside the _NDS_ folder....so you might want to delete that folder and clean the MS2 folder if anything...Considering everything, the R4/M3 Simply should only be able to read a 1-2GB microSD still and that means that if people just dumped this onto their microSD, it would take a 1/10th to a 1/20th of their space in the best case senario (which most microSD's don't ever seem to have the maximum capacity...so best case is probably impossible). Apart from that, I hope you are distributing a DSOrganize that has been fatpatched...and it would have been better putting in Moonshell2 Child Zwai rather than 2.10 Stable, since MS2 CZ has some extra perks and a variety of upgrades from Moonshell2.10 Stable.

-edit-
Oh, and for the initial loading, you could have just used the DSOrganize.nds rather than another YSBoot...you are stuffing a ton of .ini files as it is already...

Wait, does this have to be used as a replacement firmware, or just a homebrew app?
If you need it as a homebrew app you can just delete the dsmenu stuff and the r4tf.nds in the moonshl2 resetmse and replace them with the original ones...I don't know why you would want to use it as a homebrew app though...I mean, you can just set up your own...

If YSBoot is non-redistributable or not, I do not know.
The DSOrganize is distributed untouched, it was not patched.
It is your opinion that the Child Moonshell2 Zwai is better than Moonshell 2.10 Stable, is your opinion not mine and I respect what you will in the soul!
Try doing what I did but without the ysboot, and then put the result.
If you can ...

I gave it my best uncaring try...and I don't plan on trying any harder, because I find it pointless. Even if I wanted to, I can't post my current set up anyways, since it has Taiju's stuff and I don't exactly feel like redistributing something I shouldn't be redistributing.

Have fun with the new and improved concept for the R4 -_-"
BullSh*tConceptDS 4 R4DS (If anyone wants to try it, it is for amusement purposes only. I can only hope this may get a slight smirk on your faces...otherwise my work has been wasted)

I full-on lol'd and didn't even download it, so I'd say: SUCCES!

OH WAIT! I remember this guy! Combo lols, jurassic.

R4ConceptDS v02

http://filetrip.net/f23072-R4ConceptDs-02.html

Because the R4DS only supports cards to 2GB, Mooshell2 was replaced by Mooshell1.71 version.
R4ConceptDS now in version 02, has some improvements in space and performance.

(Tomorrow (13-12-2010) I have a minor surgery to the thumb of my right hand.
Wish me luck!)

@jurassicplayer _ because my english is poor and having a hard time defending myself,
I have only one thing to say:

Good luck with your surgery thing. For those that want to keep moonshell2 and conserve as much space as possible, you can shave it off to about 10-ish MBs which isn't quite as small as moonshell 1.71, but you get to keep a spiffy GUI and most of it's perks (no .mid support if you make it as small as possible though).

Amaro, you shouldn't have to feel any need for defending yourself so long as people like your concepts (apparently someone didn't like mine xD, it got burned off of filetrip, but it was the thought that really counted anyways). Of course, that doesn't mean I don't still hate these concepts because I really do find them pretty pointless (coming from the person that finds it best setting up things manually)...actually, that is also one of the reasons why I dislike the iSMM's movie player o.0 (it forcefully setups up folders even when I don't want to use them)...and I have no idea what that emoticon is trying to convey.

Ah, I remember this...

You're the one who was claiming to have coded an entirely new firmware, etc. when in reality you just slapped together some homebrew and put it in a .zip file.

And I guess you're back to try again.

The same thing happened to me, several of my files are hosted on FileTrip disappeared.
The excuse they gave me was that I made comments with sexual overtones. But I never made those comments!

Jurassicplayer, thanks for wish me luck in surgery!

Why moonshell 1.17 anyways does this work on other r4 clones or only real r4
Moonshell2 and Moonshell 1.7.1+ are homebrew media players that could be hailed as some of the best homebrew for the DS (as such, they are able to work on a large array of flashcarts and are not specific to any cart). Both have the potential to be kernels for the DS, as the EZFlash team has demonstrated with their flashcarts newer as well as the M3 team. The current kernel of the EZV/i and M3Sakura are based off of Moonshell2.
