Hacking R4 to support SDHC

This is like the senario with the Orange SPV M3100 a.k.a HTC TyTN.

Nobody knew whether it supported microSDHC and some tested it under Windows Mobile 5 confirming that it didn't work.

As soon as people upgraded to Windows Mobile 6 on the same devices, SDHC magically works. How does that figure?

They simply updated the SDIO driver. That's a problem on the R4, as (unless the R4 team prove otherwise) the R4's bootloader isn't updateable and can't read SDHC cards.

I can only think of 6gb of DS roms I'm even remotely interested in.

Which is 136 games. They aren't very big.

At the moment I don't use the DS for media, but if I had 32GB of storage I'm sure I could fill it with re-encoded aXXo releases.

Not the point. The fact that you COULD fill it with every game is what I meant, not that I would. Official games, vids, tunes, homebrew.....the sky's the limit with a card that large.
