There is no 35gb card. Micro SD cards come in 32GB and 64GB there is no 35gb option. Chip sizes usually double. 2 GB 4G 8GB 16GB 32GB 64GB etc etc.. The original R4 cards were not capable of running anything but standard micro SD cards. Only non SDHC cards. Which was the standard of the time. I assume you're running a 32 gigabyte card. You must not have an original R4. Must be one of the newer clones that are SDHC compatible... There are tons of different carts that say R4 on them.. but there's only one original..

That card looks like a R4i SDHC Dual Core 2107 or something like that. The original R4 Revolution for DS came out around 2009 I think. They were only non SDHC compatible. There was no SDHC when they were produced originally. They were the first "R4" card and most of the clones named themselves R4. Monkey see monkey do.

Your card says SDHC right on it. So theoretically you could have any SDHC. I am not sure if the card limits size though.. SDHC standards allow up to 2TB. I think the largest consumer available Micro-SD is 512 for now. However, it also says 2017. Your cart may be a "Time Bomb" cart. Try setting your 3DS calendar ahead a year or 2 and see if it still works.. Most of the clones like that, when they say the year on it, they only work that year. Why? Because jerks and money..

http://www.r4isdhc.com/r4-product/ <---- Your cart as far as I can tell from that picture.. I do believe its the R4i Dual Core. If you look on the back of your cart, can you see http://www.r4isdhc.com printed on the exposed motherboard? Like in the picture? There is some ambiguity so I could be mistaken .. There was a workaround to the Time Bomb if you have it IIRC.. Ysmenu I think..

buyer beware

I would get the R4i GOLD 3DS RTS if I were you. ---> http://www.nds-card.com/ProShow.asp?ProID=149
