Hacking r4 problem need help

i need help! my r4 was saying there was a card error so i connected it to the computer and it said i had to reformat it so i did and i lost all my info. then i downloaded kernel v1.18 and the games i wanted but when i go to the games menu it doesn't show the cheats option. i'm really confused and frustrated, could someone please help me. i would really appreciate it.

i downloaded all.zip and then put it under system

ok i downloaded the dat file and extracted the .dat and the cheat option still hasn't come up
