Hacking R4 or CycloDS?

I vote CycloDS for Wii compatibilty... if you don't have Wii or don't care about this feature, just buy a R4 or M3 DS

The R4 is cheaper but the Cyclo had a better hardware and is simply newer, built with 2 memory chips and some clean ProASIC3 A3P250 Flash FPGA device there some big pictures and some explanation ( in spanish ... with a "hack" for R4 chip/ M3 simply but i will not try it ) ).

The card is now stronger after some issues with the first batch.

The CycloDS Evolution is safe & secure when you update your firmware ( with the 2nd mem sec ) and offers some new potential promising features not to mention the support for SDHC CARDs.

Team Cyclops support is just fine and they care about suggested features in forums too ( like in games options or ... better sticker ).

okay... yes it's another "which one do I choose?" thread.
basically, my situation is this:
I have an r4. it's great, but then the spring screws up.
stupid bloody spring.
so no I decide, okay... I'll just get another one.
r4's are all out of stock. poo.
so I'm thinking this may be my oppertunity to get something better.

so, who here has a cyclo?
and is it that much better than r4?

how's the card slot?
how's homebrew compatability now?
you can skin it, right?

does castlevania slow down on it? ( I have a jap kingston card, anyway)

basically, since I already have a microsd card, the little bit extra I'd pay for a cyclo may be worth it, to me.

edit: also, if any other aussies have one, where did you get it from? I looked at OZModChips.com... anyone used them before?

It really all depends how much you wanna shell out for a card.

Because both cards deliver what you pay for.

R4 is cheaper, and does it's job.

CycloDS is a little more, and does a little more.

Cyclo DS. It has Wii compatibility and you don't need to muck around with that arm7 fix crap like you do with the R4 for the newer games being released. It's really a fantastic card.

The card slot is great, comes in and out really easy. No spring to break.
It has automatic DLDI patching, so every piece of homebrew I've tried has worked flawlessly and you don't have to patch anything.
You can skin it.

ozmodchips.com is good.. they're australian, great service, fast shipping.. no engrish if that matters. i ordered my winja deluxe + instalation from them.. ^^ and I'm really2 satisfied..
and Im ordering r4 for my friend bday from them since they just get new stock today ^^.. but sadly they dont have cyclods in stock O,o

I've try the R4 since the first date it release like EZV and SCDS.
I like R4, it's simply and easy to use.

But I think CycloDS is the best one in my opinion. I'm going to buy it soon and test
