Hacking r4 lagging on pokemon black?

Hello.

so, my r4 is lagging real bad on pokemon black.
its on fat16 and i really dont know what to do.

i have a ttds(but i cant use it in my 3ds) and its MUCH better.

i mean, here is an example:

r4 - battle over, black screen for 4 seconds then back to the overworld
ttds- battle over, back to the overworld

it also lags when i enter towns and stuff like that.

what can i do to solve this?

also, anyone knows how to make the r4 interface faster? scrolling trough games, cheats and stuff is just a nightmare, they are slow as hell and the game icons just slide across the screen, what the fuck is that supposed to be? cute?

What kind of MicroSD are you using? You should also try to backup your stuff on your computer and try formatting your MicroSD. That usually fixes most problems.

turns out the sd card that came with the r4 was some chinese piece of shit.

i had a kingston sd card and i put everything in there and now it works perfectly, even the menu is faster.
