Hacking R4 glitch

Today my R4 went crazy on me if I closed the DS while playing a game it would turn off the DS or the screen would flash on off and the speaker would make a noise even with the sound off.
I pulled the R4 out put it back in and the problem hasn't came up again.

i think you broke it . . . j/k . . . you probably just didn't put it in all the way. thats my guess.

DS cartridges tends to fuck up sometimes. My original NDS carts does this, my DS-Xtreme does this and it's been the same since I owned a regular Game Boy. Just take the cart out, and re-insert it. Eventually blow inside the DS or something to clean dust or whatever it is that causes it to mess up.

Hahaha. Oh, man. That takes me back to the days of the NES. As kids, our solution to every problem with that console was to blow in the cartridge slot.

Ive had a similar problem!
When I am running Super Princess Peach on myNcard with the slot 2 writer inserted, it flashes just like you describe!
Search youtubefor "UFPEX" and look for a vid by paul.strickler.
Tell me if what happened to you is the same.
Sorry bout the quad post. Im on DSO right now and it cant be helped.
