Hacking R4 ds update

Hi evryone,

I have a nintendo ds lite with a r4 ds card.
On the card are a couple of games and system files as moonshl.
(on my card it says, R4 SDHC, revolution for DS, (NDSL/NDS))
I would really like to play pokemon black 2, but when i want to start the game, it is "untitled" and it freezes at a white screen. I read that i have to update my r4 card to play the game. But i have no idea how i am supposed to do that. I tried alot of things but nothing seems to work.
Is there any solution?

Exactly what type of R4 SDHC do you have? There are quite a few types for them, and clones are known for not having compatibility updates or continued support.

I ordered it a long time ago, in 2008 or so, but i still have the box it came with.
On the box is says http://www.r4ds.com and that is where i ordered it.

I actually have two cards...
I have one normal r4 ds, from r4ds.com. Thats the one with the box i kept.
And I can't find the box of my sdhc so there is a possibility that one is a clone...

so if it is a clone, is it possible to update my r4 from r4ds.com?
