Hacking R4 DS Shipping

Hi Guys

I am thinking of ordering 6 R4DS from Dealextreme for my friends and was wondering if they package the R4DS in its cardboard box or if they post it without the box in a post pack as Bamboogaming does.

Also is anyone able to give me the dimensions of the R4 DS box so I can figure out how big the package might be for shipping.

Has anyone else in Asutarlia ordered this sort of quanity? Did you have any problems with Customs???

www.sky2k.com they are really cheap. Also they charge the same shipping costs for every single country. They shipped my N card with the box flattened inside my parcel.

Box comes in its normal size and shape, and in an envelope.

I have one but I can't find it. I believe it's around 15 cm in width and around 10 in length

EDIT: ~3 cm thick

comes with the box. no idea on size, go with 4saken xP

keep in mind it takes ~2wk shipping.

Any Aussies had any problems with Customs bringing in larger orders?

Not large orders, but had no trouble with single ones, multiple times xD

Shouldn't be a problem. Don't worry. Chances are our customs won't know what the hell it is in the first place.

yeha i ordered 3 about a few weeks ago, came to my doorstep perfect (i had it ordered with EMS, took 6-7 days) and in good shape with the box and all + a little flash light as a freebie...im currently ordering another 3 for my mates

btw i live in Sydney

you don't get taxed unless you order more than AU$1000 these days. used to be 500.

you won't get busted because to them they seem like normal plastic/electronic parts/game catridges.

No problem for customs I guess. They write the description of the R4 on the envelope as 'LED flashlight'

came alright, took a while. but came.

so dealextreme are still cheapest with 1gb sd to AUS?

I ordered on the 12th it was dispatched out of HK on the 18th and recieved on the 20th

Even if there is a tracking code for the UK it will be delivered by the local postman so no point checking on the royalmail website since it wont show up on there. I wasnt bothered opening the door so now i gotta trot down to the depot to pick it up but its marked as special delivery which is good
