I've released 1.4.3 but the fix for this didn't make it in as I didn't see it until just now. I tried 240 with some changes but it made it worse, I'll have a look and implement it in a future update.
any plans for rice framebuffer?

Can it be a toggle? I like the extra sharpness with some games on CRT.

About the extra controller slots, too cumbersome?

1.4.4 is out now. https://github.com/emukidid/Wii64/releases/tag/1.4.4

I will take a bit of a break from "frequent" releases while I work on some usability things and perhaps some larger features (Rice framebuffer support, backporting certain HLE ucodes we don't have yet).

On my end, if I try to quit the emulator it goes to a black screen. Using the rice version on Wii with sd card.

Thanks for duke nukem ;)

I also use Rice, and I'm having the same problem. In versions 1.4.x, if you enter the emulator and exit without loading a game first, the screen stays black and doesn't return to the homebrew menu.

By the way, Beetle Adventure Racing has graphical glitches with the sky and trees in versions 1.4.3 and 1.4.4, which can be fixed by using the RiceVideoLinux.ini file from version 1.4.2. In fact, I think version 1.4.4 works better with the RiceVideoLinux.ini file from version 1.4.2 than with its own—not just with Beetle but also with other games like Rayman 2. I’m leaving it that way, since it runs very smoothly with that combination. I always do a clean install, by the way.

Thank you very much—it works great.

Pushed a new version, 1.4.4 had some broken texturing in glN64. I'll try to do the Factor 5 ucodes from GLideN64 at some point now that I'm a bit more confident after doing the WDC/Stunt Racer ucode. I also want to really focus on FrameBuffer enough so that Perfect Dark, Zelda (lens of truth etc) are working properly.

There were some fairly fundamental core changes brought back from mupen64plus/GLideN64 so let me know via issues on github if things have broken in something that used to work. https://github.com/emukidid/Wii64/releases/tag/1.4.5

Awesome release! Not only does Gauntlet Legends work (although a bit slow) and Stunt Driver and World Driver Championship work almost flawlessly but also Starcraft 64 displays mostly correct graphics on Rice!

EDIT: For Stunt Car 64 and WDC you guys definitely want to set the music to low or even off because the sound skipping is horrible! Also set counter factor to 1 - both games run at full speed on the Wii and it helps with the audio skipping a little bit. Also is it just me or does Stunt Car 64 remind a little bit of Moto Toon Racer? The other polyphony digital game besides Gran Turismo, looks like Boss games were huge fans of their work :P

EDIT 2: MYSTICAL NINJA STARRING GOEMON WORKS PERFECTLY ON WII64 RICE!!!

Im going to double post just specifically to highlight this release - there are now *four* games that originally just weren't playable ever on the Wii before, Mystical Ninja, Starcraft 64, World Driver Championship and Stunt Driver 64, (as well as games like Crusn Exotica and Gauntlet Legends) I would seriously implore you guys to check this one out because it actually does shake up the compatibility list in a way that hasn't been done since Not64 hit the scene and is indeed worth revisiting what works and what doesn't, it's how I discovered Mystical Ninja and Starcraft now work totally fine.
