Hacking r4 clone, any "good" software?

Okay, I think I have bought a clone, but I'll see if I'll send it back or not.
But the question is, are there any good software for a R4 clone, anyone could reccomad to download?
This clone looks like the orginal R4, but I can feel the chip under the sticker

By software do you mean the firmware? If so then the only good one out there is as good as the latest r4 fw which is 1.18.

The normal R4 software should work on a clone. If it doesn't, you might have a v1.21 R4 in which case you cna grab the 1.21 software from www.ndslr4.com .

Best advice = send it back.
Also, don't replace it with any cart with "R4" in it's title...trust me
