Hacking R.I.P Acekard 2i

Glad to see that your AK2i was resurrected. Someone should really put this as a FAQ for all carts since it probably would save countless 'bad' carts from being tossed.

mine had slight contact issues fixed it by taking very thin pieces of wood from a popcicle stick and shoving them behind the connectors on my ak2i.

works like a charm, might could work with a small piece of construction paper that way too.

actually for the next 4 hours im gonna ttry my hardest to bring it back to life or ill go to this video game store neardby in pacific mall that sells aks and ill say i bought the acekard 2i from him and it doesnt work so replace it(i acctually got it from gamebygame.com)

check the contacts of both the DS and the acekard. it seems you are now having dificulties on opening the cart.

Interesting thread, hope my new one last longer than that. I have had an Original R4 for like two years and have never had a problem so I'm hoping the same goes for my new Acekard.........don't feel like molesting the contacts quite yet.

I have 2 in the post after using CycloDS/R4/DSTT for ages with no problems, lets hope I have no problems with the Acekard 2i
