my bro was playing some gta V when he said there was an update warning... I scrambled towards the computer to see if qwertyoruiopz was possibly going to release his kernel exploit for 4.50/4.55 and he had this to say to some of the people that asked questions about the release:

Could be that Sony hasn't patched a thing.

Do not get your hopes up that quickly and don't make clickbaitey threads about it.
It'll be released when Sony patches it.

It would probably be akin to 1.76 when it gets released.

He doesn't. The thing is that, if the new firmware patches the exploit he is working on, he will release it really soon.
(So... Yeah, the title of the thread is a bit inaccurate to say the least, since nothing has been confirmed at the moment)

That's what I was talking about, yes. But he said that IF the exploit is patched, he will release it. Not that the exploit IS actually patched.
The title of this thread already states that the exploit will release soon, meaning that the update actually patches the exploit when qwertyruiopz hasn't confirmed it yet. It is stated as a truth when at the moment is just a possibility.

maybe, but i had to update because i wanted to try out overwatch so badly.
and i love the game, so i think it was worth it.

the cool thing is, i am always getting free games most of the time.
as my bro is the one who buys them mostly, and sometimes he trades them off, so there is plenty of games for me to play.

the waiting is never ending , if whatever this qwerty guy releases turns out to be some good hax, and allows homebrew and much more later on.
i'll then defintely buy a new ps4 that is on a fw that is required for the hax.
