I apologise if this is the wrong place but would it be possible to Port xmugen here? Also are there tutorials or where would I start to learn how to go about that.

Not sure about that. It would take a lot of work; especially since it's old, and the fact that the Xbox ran on another Architecture. If it's coded in something like C, C++ (Most likely), or C#. It can be ported using Visual Studio and some time.

A quick search didn't find any source code for xmugen. That would need to be available for anyone to be able to port it.

The reason xmugen worked on the original xbox was people made a minimal linux environment to run it with. Even though the XB1 is x86 also, the sandbox UWP programs are contained in wouldn't allow such a thing.

If you aware that that's the wrong section, why would you not move to the right one?
Considering there were only three sections here I had no idea where to put it. I did not know this was the wrong area just apologized if it was

This is the right section. There is no question section. Or would you rather he posted in tutorials, your Majesty?
oh well it was already confirmed that Linux will come to xbox one, so it is a matter of time
Where was this confirmed? I googled several times and found no source to back this claim up.
